Yep, so I'm pretty keen on the Preen Pre-Fall 2012 collection.

I don't really wear too much colour myself, but I've always been a fan of blue, especially when it's juxtaposed with orange. I often style it together at work.

The simplistic yet striking mod vibe exuding from the first few looks in this collection have earnt my attention.
Not to mention the appearance of leather (a Liana favourite) and a bright blue knit print (inspired from teacups apparently), provide the collection with something distinguishable and delicious.

I have posted my favourite looks above.

In other news, I'm still being a crazy party cat. I went out 5 nights last week. I seriously have problems. Chuckle.
Luckily I have scheduled an appointment with my doctor so I will focus hard on behaving as it draws nearer...

And one of my super lovely friends from my home time is moving to Sydney in two weeks to study fashion. I am SO excited she is coming. She will keep me in line.

The year we all supposedly die.
Fucccck, honestly, I can't comprehend the fact it's a new year.

A fresh year, a fresh start?
You know, make resolutions. Stick to em. Better your life??
DOUBTFUL.
Look, I'm going to be optimistic.
I will make resolutions.
Can I stick to em?
Most likely not, without a super hot personal life coach screaming in my ear every minute.
But I can try.
I can try to get healthy.
Stop smoking. Eat fruit. Visit doctor. Go to therapy.
These things would definitely help will my stupid illness which basically ruined last year, and my entire happiness in general.
I can try to save money.
Pay my sister back. Stop blowing money on partying.
I can try to excel in my workplace.
Get some more skills to look sexy on my resume.
I can try to formulate a plan.
I should start to conjure ideas for a plan, a plan to create direction in my life.
I can try to forget about someone.
Who is unknowingly making my life a living hell.
I can try to open my heart.
I should try and let someone through the barricade.

I started off this year in an amazing place. I was on a stunning yacht, worth millions, right infront of the Sydney Harbour Bridge with a small group of lovely people, a best friend, and my sister. I was drunk, in an amazing mind set, excited by life.
I danced, I played, I kissed.
I watched the captivating display of fireworks Sydney is renowned globally for (on a fucking yacht!!!)... and for once I felt inspired.
So here's to the new year, may it be a good one (providing the world doesn't come to an end), and may it bring something fresh and interesting to my dwindling existence.

Don't have much time to compile an in depth wishlist this year.
It's Christmastime, the busiest time for retailers, so I find myself working very long hours which is good, but tiresome. So I just picked things I've loved for a while due to lack of internet time.

News: I'm getting fed up with my health. I've started to give up.
I can't find any more motivation to try stay healthy so I find myself smoking too much, drinking like a crazed alco, and partying almost endlessly.
So chances are if you see me sober, you see me hungover...and if that's the case I'd like to apologise now for my lack of brain cells.

Christmas this year will be spent away from my family (as they live far away from Sydney), at a crazy shindig at my ex-flatmates. So, should be nuts knowing them. May pop down to the surrogate Cronulla family first though.
So hopefully it's not going to be a lonely holiday.

This be me. And this be what my life be like.

Freaking blurring by so fast, (IT'S CHRISTMAS IN LIKE, 10 DAYS!!! WHHATT?!!?!?!?) crazy in a haze of lights.

Had a weird week. My life is changing again...I have a new job. Now working at a boutique called Hussy.
It's not entirely my style, but I do appreciate how fun yet intricate the pieces are. And I love getting to style customers with shoes and belts and the whole sha-bang.

It has two stores so I spend some of my time in the CBD, and then in Paddington, too. I like to sneak past the other designer stores on my break and froth on their collections. Pretty sure I'd do some naughty things to get my hands on some current season Manning Cartell, Kirrily Johnston and Scanlan and Theodore.
Also making new friends. I'm trying out a thing where I hang out with as many contrasting people as possible....like socially, culturally, different ages, different interests. This is definitely keeping me amused.
Making lots of mistakes too (oh well that's life).
Only way to learn though.

I don't even know what to post anymore.
I've been so busy...sorry readers.
To update you, I now live in Randwick, a different part of Sydney. It is nice and I am liking it.
I have been relatively inactive in the social scene due to severe lack of funding. This upsets me as I love to socialise and I love to party (cliche as it sounds).
I work every single day and all my money is basically going to surviving.
My love for fashion has faded to the point where I don't even want to look at it anymore because I know I can't afford it, and I know I can't even wear it due to my health.
My illness has seeped into my life to the point where it now dictates my wardrobe.
I find myself being covered head to toe, which not only feels limiting and constrictive, but is also terribly uncomfortable with the rising summer temperatures...
I rarely visit the beach anymore. I wouldn't dare wear a bikini.
And horrible of horribles, I can't pursue the boy I want because why the fuck would he want this sick being that is myself....I find myself staying away from him because I want the best for him. He deserves beauty.

WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO MY LIFE!??!!
I'm sorry for this annoyingly emotional post dear bloggers, but I love this blog so much and I want you to understand why it hasn't been up to scratch of recent.

I will however make you all a nice playlist to listen to, because music is something that will continually bring a big happy smile to my face, and hopefully it will bring one to yours too.

An update:

It's my last week at D-Hill.
I'll really miss it here.
Going to stay with Mellie for a few weeks and save up some money.
I'll miss my flatmates. I'll miss them bad.
They probably won't miss me as much...I'm too weird for my own good sometimes.
But I'm a loyal girl and when a person gains my friendship and trust they will always have it (unless you do something super-dooper-trooper bad, but even then I'm still understanding)...

Flip and Moni....I'll miss ya. I'll miss you stumbling into my room drunk at midnight, singing Bohemian Rhapsody at the top of your lungs, smoking on the balcony and talking shit....I'll miss the Tame Impala, Led Zeppelin and Biggie Smalls blasting from the stereo.
But I won't miss Flip's hair balls....hahahahaha!!

I've been rather enjoying the SS12 Collections.

Givenchy (as usual) rocked, seriously dug the footwear at Vivienne Westwood, Gareth Pugh once again impressed me with his creativity, colours, jackets and hats (which look like they are out of Star Wars) tickled my fancy at Balenciaga, and I even enjoyed the seriously glittery Louis Vuitton collection (shock, I actually liked a LV collection!).

So it was hard for me to actually pick a collection to post today.

But I decided to go with the trusty Ms Demeulemeester.

Why? Because apart from the giant feather and tasseled jacket, I would wear and buy (given the income), each freakin piece. As much as I would love to pretend I wear a fuck load of colour, I really don't. So this collection for me would slip into my wardrobe so freakin well.
That and I post Givenchy far too often.

In other news, too excited for this weekend! Even though I am working both days (stupid work really needs to hire more people!), and the weather looks grim, it's my bestie Mel's 21st and I can't wait to party hard with her on Saturday night. Also hopefully catching my friend Moktar's gig for Polographia at World Bar tomorrow night. If you love chilled electro beats check out his and his pal's shtuff. Seriously.

I just know that when I watch this short film, I get the biggest smile on my face.

The song is by Wild Beasts dubbed 'End Come Too Soon'.

I thought this song title was relevant as I find myself once again to be on the house hunt.
My time at the D-Hill Penthouse (as we call it) is rapidly coming to an end.
Looking for a semi-decent place for a decent price in Sydney is freakin hard.
Finding flatmates that aren't total seedy old men, creepy weirdos or awkward overly Christian introverted types can also be challenging. But I am utterly determined to succeed.

Okay. Fuck Fashion Toast.
I have found a blog which in my opinion is pretty much the icing on the cake of personal style blogs out there.
Oh, and these ladies happen to live in Australia too (in Brisbane of all places!) which of course is another point in their favour.
The blog is dubbed 'INSIDE IN, INSIDE OUT'.
I only found it like a week ago, and I'm so hooked.
EVERYTHING these lovely ladies wear I ADORE.
I love their fashion choices, how they style their outfits, and how they rock basically every designer I generally froth over.
I am puzzled as to how they can afford it all, nevertheless, these chicks rock.
The groovy twins (Fabliha and Tasfia) deserve a decent high five as they have provided me with some serious outfit inspiration.
So if you haven't popped on by for a visit already, I suggest you do kitties.

Found these few images of the SS12 Chronicles of Never on Facebook believe it or not. I tried to hunt down some bigger, better images but I kinda failed.

Regardless, I had to post as I am seriously crushing on these garments.
Frrrrrrrrrrrressssssssh.

Always been a fan of C.O.N shades, but their clothing designs are have been growing on me and I think they are almost just as groovy.

You see, I myself love to wear garments that have movement and fluidity.
So a piece from this latest Chronicles collection would be warmly welcomed in my wardrobe.
I love the draping goodness these pieces possess. I also enjoy the interesting use of print used in this collection to give an interesting twist on the usual monochromatic palette.

In funnier, more random news, I got robbed on Friday night by a group of teenagers in Hyde Park. I chased them down like a crazy lady in attempt to get my possessions back and failed. I spent the rest of my night with really groovy police officers.
But I lost my phone and my money. Luckily, my bag was found so I got my keys back!!
Due to this incident my parents decided to pop down to Sydney for a spontaneous visit. It was very nice but very surprising indeed let me tell you!
Also had an encounter with an old friend who returned from Europe who I haven't seen in aggggges...
So, yeah. My weekend was completely fortuitous, now wasn't it?

I have kept a close eye on Carly Hunter.
When I first saw her collection 'Apollo', I knew I had to keep tabs on her designs.
Then she blew me away again with Non Ho Sonno.
Now once again, she has impressed me with her latest SS collection, 'Polymorphic Light Explosion'.
I've got to say this is my favourite Australian SS12 collection I've seen so far -- and I ain't lyin' when I say I ACHE for every piece.
How beautiful, wispy, ethereal, fresh and floaty are these garments?
How delightful is the draping?

Jumpin' for Summer...

So the weather in Sydney is teasing me.
It's been very warm and sunny (24 degrees, remembering this is our winter!!) this past week, so I've been shedding off my layers and rethinking my usual combination of black-on-black-on-black.

I've also decided to start flicking through Street Style blogs again. For the last couple of months I have banned myself from various street fashion sites as I have had no money to spend on clothes, consequently reading them got me in a grumpy mood.
But now the sun is a-shinin', I've lodged my tax, and I'm starting to feel good again, I've been browsing the street sites once more, frothing all over the bold summer styles splattered all over the place.
I can tell I am going to be in for a bright summer!!

This particular look fascinated me for some unknown reason.
The over-sized denim jumpsuit is a brave and often unflattering choice for a summer look, but here I think Laura pulls it off in a quirky, yet edgy way.
I love how she has splashed the look with colour by adding her beads and scarf, and gave the look a bit more of an edge with her leather boots, black shades and that little tiny earring!

Sorry I've been neglecting my blogger guys. I know it's terrible...I've mainly been tumbling as it's quicker and easier atm, so I seem to fit it in more easily.
I've been busy...working frequently, seeing friends, partying, clubbing, sleeping.
Wandering around the city aimlessly talking crap with friends.
I also went home to Ballina this past weekend.
It was nice to see my family. It was nice to eat a decent meal.
But I get so bored there.
Thank fuck I live in Sydney...

I bought a Vogue to read on the plane home. It was the first fashion magazine I had bought in months due to lack of funding (reason I bought Vogue was due to the fact I was $1.50 too short for Russh--dang it).
It wasn't the best edition in all honesty. But I realised something as I was flipping through the glossy, luxuriously fashion filled pages...I've completely lost my way.
I came to this city to pursue some form of drive to get closer to this divine, ever-changing industry....and I seem to have gotten caught up in the nonsense of adulthood and reality.
I dislike the fact I am lost and I no longer know what it is I want.

I need a good boost of motivation. I need a new plan.
Ideas????????

I actually had a weekend this weekend.
I wasn't working on Saturday or Sunday! Far out what a good feeling. Had an epic night on Friday, a blurry night on Saturday and a chilled Mel dinner hang followed by a very long Skype sesh on Sunday night.
It's a nice feeling you know, to relax.
May have forgotten what that felt like for a while there.

If you're in Sydney and you come to the new Westfield, come to the store just to snuggle in the knits with me (Was that a proposition? I hope not?!?!).

I must save save save so I can purchase it and stay toasty this winter.
I am freezing my balls off in Sydney. I'm even to chicken to go out tonight as I'd rather stay inside with my blankets and stay warm.
It is quite a lot cooler here than where I originate from (near Byron Bay).
I need to suck it up and get some weather stamina.
Especially if I ever intend to go to Europe.

GIRLS WITH KALEIDOSCOPE MINDS

This may be a little belated, but what ze heck.
For those who haven't already seen, the Miss Unkon RAFW show was on Tuesday and it was a total hit.
It was the first show I had ever been to and it was an amazing experience.
Being surrounded by so many stylish people was exciting. I loved seeing people I admire from all areas of the industry and silently gasped in awe of their awesomeness (yes, I am a total loser). I recognised quite a number of bloggers and photographers I admired, so that too was exciting.
I even got my photo snapped a few times which was totally odd. And met some awesome, inspiring people at the after party.
But oh! So much fun.

The 'Girls With Kaleidoscope Minds' is the new collection.
Feminine and delicate with American Indian influences and a drop of bohemian goodness, this collection is wearable, fun and no doubt will be a hit with feminine fashionistas next season.
What really took the collection to the next level was the beauty, the accessories and the overall dreaminess that the show was exuding.
Intricate braiding wove around each models face, and unique geometric and earthly body art and layers of woven bracelets, crystals and beaded necklaces really brought the pieces to life.
Not to mention the dreamy sounds filling the theatre (when Phaeleh 'Afterglow' began to play I got the shivers - so beautiful) and the black and white projected images on the orbed ceiling created such a free and spiritual atmosphere.

It was truly amazing.

When We Grow Up

I am too excited for the Miss Unkon AW11 collection 'When We Grow Up' (inspired by the awesome song by Fever Ray) to arrive in our store soon.
I really can't wait to sell it (and wear it! -- I have my eye on those knits).

For those of you who don't already know, I work retail for Miss Unkon and I am lucky enough to be involved in some of the happenings of the label, too.
I got to volunteer for the AW11 lookbook shoot a month or so ago and it was fabulous to see my bosses in action and see the clothes up close and watch them come alive.

The AW11 campaign shoot however, is another whole level of awesome.
The styling, the setting, the weather, the make-up really give an amazing asthetic to the lovely collection. Uh! If you haven't seen the campaign yet and love wintery dreaminess, I suggest you check it out.

I am equally excited to see the SS12 Miss Unkon collection at fashion week. I'll be running around behind the scenes no doubt, sighing at everything and getting all inspired and shit.
It will be great to see what Courtney comes up with...

I'm super, super, super excited as it will be my first fashion week! Double Uh!

Hello all, I'm back!
My trip was quaint.
I swam, snorkelled, tanned, drank, etc etc. Ya know, the cliches.
Also went zip lining which was wicked.
(P.S I'm now 20 --YUCK)

Now I am back in Sydney (thank god) and getting pumped to get back to reality, and fashion week!

This film 'I came hidden from the earth' by Florian Gerbaud is so beautiful. I only just found her blog bats and swallows, and I am already transfixed by all the amazing imagery posted there. The dream-state incoherence, femininity and eery blurriness of her blog captivates me. I am obsessed. Anywho, on an unrelated topic, I had a lovely afternoon today.

I needed to breathe some salty air and be near the ocean, so I drove my self to Coogee and walked along the walkway from Coogee to Bronte and basqued in the glorious sunshine. I didn't go for a dip, the water was choppy and shit, but I did dip my toes in for a moment to cool off from the heat.
Also treated myself to an Otropo burger (I'm so healthy...cough) and a frozen coke.
Even driving through the city was a delight. The sun seemed to make the trip more enjoyable, and Julian Casablancas blaring through my car stereo definately helped too.

Sometimes I wish life was always that dandy.

I'm in a weird place at the moment. Mentally, that is.
I don't like Tafe. It's not what I want to do. And I don't like not having a day off. When I'm not at Tafe, I'm working. In fact today, I'm wagging Tafe so I can relax.

I am having a stressful time with all this paperwork I have to do for the government so I can get a passport...and trying to fit that in around work and Tafe is a fucking mission.

I don't want to be in merchandising. I have no idea what I want and it scares the FUCK outta me. I know I want to travel. I want to go to Europe and just be free and work my way through the countries, and experience life through different ways and with different people.

And at the moment it sounds even more appealing as 3 of my friends are leaving for Europe all in the space of a month. I'm so jealous. But so sad too, as I'll miss them.

I'm just a crazy wreck.

I was browsing the lovely blog Idols Craving Ballerinas the other day and saw a post that I knew I just had to do. It originates from tumblr, but I am going to take a page out of her book and re-work it. I am going to do one of those lameo music challenges. (Haha!)

I thought it'd be relevant for this blog as you may all of figured out I am a huge music head...and it'd be nice for you too all to see what music has influenced me, and made it such an important and huge aspect of my life.

My excellent father has had the most influence of my music taste. He introduced me to many amazing bands from past and present throughout my childhood. He introduced me to many of my favourite bands like The Chemical Brothers and AIR from a very early age. He bought me my first Ministry of Sound when I was 9 and educated me on the classics (Pink Floyd, Lou Reed, The Rolling Stones, Pixies--everything). He also introduced me to alot of artists that one doesn't neccesarily come across in the mainstream music charts. So for that, I am thankful.

Reminds me of clubbing, partying with Melissa, working (it's on the playlist at work), and the lyrics are somewhat extremely relevant. My last summer as a teenager.

6. A song by a favourite band

What Would I Want? Sky - Animal Collective

I have a few favourite bands all tied. But seeing as I'll be posting my favourite song below (which is another fave band) and have already posted a song by Chemicals, it seemed prudent to select an Animal Collective song. I LOVE this band to death. I used a song of theirs for my HSC major dance composition and since then have been HOOKED. Their beats are so trippy and beautiful.

7. A song from the soundtrack of my favourite movie

Rhymes of an Hour - Mazzy Star

Well, my favourites movies are actually Star Wars, but everyone knows the theme song for that I'm sure (if not, shame on you). But one of my other favourite films is 'Stealing Beauty'. This entrancing song was playing as Lucy loses her viginity. It is so beautiful.

8. My favourite song

La Femme D'Argent - AIR

Whenever I play this song I love the fact I am alive and breathing.

It makes me feel so God-darn-happy. It makes the sun shine brighter. It opens up my eyes and I begin to observe things I usually ignore. Whenever I listen to this song I have this overwhelming feeling of optimism.

Like, that sounds lame, but honestly....it really does.

It may not have amazing vocals or a difficult guitar solo, but to me, this song is pure magic.

I swear it was the other day I was 17 running around Splendour In The Grass like a nutter.

Okay, so pretty sure MK and A's label 'The Row' is quickly becoming a favourite. I adored their last collection - one of their long flowing maxi dresses made my wishlist. Plus, their T-Shirts are as close to perfect and as utilitarian you can get.

But The Row's AW11 Collection is simply mouth-watering. I have always been a fan of high end luxouriousness, even though I may dress like a hobo. I know I shouldn't support the use of fur and animal hide that is not vintage...but I can't help it. The pure decadence of this collection, the fur, the velvet, the bags, the gloves, the tailoring, and the drape....ughh! AMAZING. Above are my favourite looks from the collection...though I would post them all if I could.
And to see these ladies bring to life garments that in my opinion rival Givenchy, Celine, etc, is really quite exciting.

I will definately be keeping my eye on The Row, that's fo sho.

Firstly, I must claim my love for Stylestalker. We stock it at work and besides Miss Unkon, it is my favourite thing to sell. I bought a dress of theirs a couple of weeks ago and LOVE it. I was severly annoyed with every bloody Aussie blog posting up the shots from their last campaign, but I can't help it this time. Below are my favourite looks from the recent collection (particularly the black blouse).

Also, I love the fact the model is Ali Langarde. After volunteering on the Something Else Campaign shoot in January and watching this beauty work her magic, I will always be smitten with her work. (not to mention she is super nice!)

Getting me inspired for the upcoming cooler months in Aussieland. However, the weather is still rather warm here. It got to 43 or something ridiculously high in the city the other day. Walking past the window displays with the woollen jumpers, jeans, scarfs etc for the upcoming season seemed like a total joke.

Tafe is ok...it's kinda boring atm. Didn't really get to do much the past couple of days. Fabrics and fibres was interesting but why I needed to do a two hour class on Microsoft Word beats the shit outta me. Gah.

Sorry, sorry, SORRY for my absence guys.

I've been SOOO busy I haven't had the chance to blog much!

I feel rather bad about it and I miss keeping up to date with everyone's posts.

I have been working constantly, enrolling in TAFE, socialising and frantically trying to find a new place to reside (holyyy hell it's a challenge!).

I'm stayng in Cronulla with my darling aunt and her family, they are helping me out in a time of crazyness. Gosh it's so lovely down here...I'm even checking out a place down here. But it is just so far away from the city.

I start TAFE next Monday and ohhhmygod I am nervous. I hope I like it.

Pretty sure Rochas Pre-Fall 2011 is rockin it.

Like I really dig this nerdy-chic collection. It has me written all over it.

Socks and loafers (a look I often sport), simple yet stunning ruffled skirts and dresses, beanies (yes!!), masculine pants and feminine skirts. Those adjectives sound completely retarded when thrown all together to describe this collection...but hey, it works.
It's quirky, simple yet entirely chic.

Sooooo, how was everyones New Years? Whatcha geddup too?

Mine was a bit hectic. I spent it in a seedy club with Melissa (who went a bit loopy - lol) and Jacob and his minions.

I had a rather large quantity of alcohol to mask the seediness of it all buuut all was ok as I looked nice and stood tall (at least 6 foot) in my new JC Foxys.

That, and Yuksek played a pretty decent set.

I also made friends with girls in the toilets, hahaha. One girl was wearing a Miss Unkon shirt we had sold her at work and I got very excited and squealed a fair bit.

But the start of a new year brings too much excitement with it... exciting things are brewing my friends. I know this year will be epic.

So, it's almost here. That time of year your standing at a party or club somewhere, a little buzzed on wine counting down the seconds to the next year...

So plenty of things are running through your mind. "Whoa this is so much fun", "Gee, I wonder who I'll snog", "Ugh, hurry up fireworks" etc etc.

And then your resolutions flash up in your head, if only briefly, for the year only seconds away(followed quickly by "I wonder if I'll actually resolve them").

So I haven't really come up with too many as of yet, but some of mine include:

1. Get more work experience in fashion -- (volunteer work)

2. Start studying. It's time to get the ball rolling.

3. Make more Sydney friends.

4. Eat healthier (eating toast for 5 days straight probably hasn't been the best diet for me haha)

5. Save more money. (I spend far too much on clothing :s so at this rate I'll never travel)

I saw DimePiece's Spring 2011 Collection 'Save No Prayer' on Coute Que Coute and fell in love with the lookbook -- so I just had to re-post.

It's twisted and dark with feminity infused right through it.

I never like to post up photos of myself, but I thought you'd like to see the crazy girl behind this blog on this rare occasion.

These were the blurry leftovers of one of our Toi Et Moi looks...(and I actually prefer them as I personally love anything blurry and unfocused).
We will be submitting our entry to the Toi Et Moi competition soon...so when I have the details I send you all a link so you can laugh at my shitty french posing.

I've a nice couple of days though recently...

Yesterday I went for a job trial at Princess Polly and had so much fun. The other girls and guy who work there are so nice and are just as obsessed with Miss Unkon as I am! It looks like I'll be working there from sometime next week!

Then last night I went to the Raffles College Fashion Parade in Redfern Carriageworks.

It was rather interesting. Some of the pieces were ammmazing. Others not so much (tough but true).

The knitwear was probably the sickest part of the show...and the concept designs in the foyer before the show were so rad (there was a shaggy/hairy poncho thing which looked amazing on the 6ft2 African model and a white furry/tulle collar that fanned out and had italian fibroptics through it so it lit up).
So yeah, pretty wicked stuff.

Though not as amazing as her previous collections, Tina Kalivas' 2010 line 'Hive Mind', is still rather flipping awesome. Above are my favourite pieces from the lookbook.

Like, does ever do anything bad? Er, no.

Her signature characteristics are evident once again, but they have a new twist. Structure, bold colours, geometric influences teamed with ingenious prints is Kalivas' calling card.
But it seriously doesn't get old.
(Hey Tina, if you ever want an intern...give me a call pretty please with Chanel lace on top.)

Anywho. Been rather busy at the moment...I've been building a portfolio as I am applying for Whitehouse Institute of Design and Raffles College of Design for next year. So I've been cutting, pasting, painting, sketching like a mad woman -- still not satisfied but it's slowly coming along. Also been working with Mellie from Le Pearl on a french inspired shoot for our porfolios and the Toi Et Moi competition which has been awesome fun. I'll see if I can post some of the results by the end of the week.

And their music makes me feel happy, sort of elated, transfixed and spiritual all at the same time.

I love it when I discover a flipping fantastic Flickr. I get all giggly and excited.
I'm all giggles at the moment.
I have just discovered the FABBBULOUS flickr account of Elizaveta Porodina.
Seriously folks, if you haven't already seen it, I suggest you do, and pronto.
This collection of images is dubbed 'Cocoon' - and rightly so.
I love her collaboration with Michaela Wunderl who is behind the fashion of these photographs. I love the swirling eerieness of the fabrics covering parts of the model...

Ok, before today I had never even heard of Lena Hasibether.
I can't believe it because her fun, geometric and quirky SS11 collection seriously floats my freaking boat.
The German designer is definately on my "to watch" list from now on.

My Halloween weekend turned out to be suprisingly good considering I wasn't going to do anything.

On Saturday I met up with a fellow blogger Ange (do pop by her blog for some awesome blurriness) and we went to a house party. I dressed as a pirate. The stunning Aroha was there too.

On Sunday my crazy friends Eleanor and Elisa took me out in the City. We went a bit crazzzy. It was a rather interesting night. (They were both dressed as slutty zombie french maids, so we got alot of attention)

How flipping fan-colour-tastic is this editorial?

I stumbled upon it a a regular site I pop in to 'The Ones2Watch'.

Dubbed "Alys", this editorial seriously floats my boat.

The flowing maxi dresses and silk skirts brimming with colour, saturated with bright cheerfulness. How delish.

The beauty is equally brilliant. The hair for one reciprocates the garments and creates a fabulous overall effect.

Anywho. Sorry about the lack of posts. I have now moved to Sydney and don't really have internet access apart from my phone. So sorry if the posts are AWOL.

I'm quite busy also getting moved in and what not. Plus I start work very soon so I'm excited for the change. And I'm uber doober excited for the Sydney summer! Beaching and city festivites, and Big Day Out.

Givenchy Spring 2011 has to be one of my favourite collections from the recent fashion week in Paris.

It's sex on legs.

The dark leather, the zips, the leopard print, the sheer and fishnet flowing pants...texture, texture, texture!

The beauty is stunning too. The dark crimson lips ooze sexuality and the hair, like the garments, display different textures - crimping, straightening, waves and plaits.

How delicious.

Today I bought the perfect summer dress. It's the white lace panelled dress by Shakuhachi.

I can't wait to wear it (Of course it won't look as good on me as it does on Bambi)!!

I'm packing up all my gear into various boxes and suitcases...hopefully I can fit it all in my car!

I'm too excited to move! I leave next week...so if you're a Sydney blogger, and you wanna meet up, give me a holla!!
